Tara O'Barsky was born and raised in Salisbury, MD and educated in the Wicomico County Public School System. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education (Biology) and a Masters degree in Public School Administration from Salisbury University. Mrs. O'Barsky has 16 years in the field of education, having taught middle school in Somerset County and high school in Wicomico County. In 2002 she began work in the field of early childhood education as the Executive Director of a private, early learning center in Talbot County that was certified and accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education. After several years in the private sector, she has returned to Wicomico County and served the last three years as an Assistant Principal at West Salisbury Elementary. Mrs. O'Barsky is thrilled to be working as the new Assistant Principal for CTE at Parkside High School, her alma mater, and is committed to making a difference, one student at a time. She lives in Salisbury with her husband, Chris, and her children, Noah and Riley.
