I am excited to be joining the North Salisbury team! I am originally from New York, and moved here over 30 years ago. I am a graduate of Parkside High School, and then went on to receive my bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, followed by a degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University. I then returned to Salisbury University to receive my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I began my teaching career at Beaver Run Elementary as a kindergarten teacher. I then taught 3rd grade at Pittsville Elementary and Middle School. Most recently I have worked as the Assistant Principal at Fruitland Intermediate School.
I currently live in Willards with my husband and two children, who are in 3rd and 6th grade at Willards Elementary and Pittsville Elementary and Middle. As a family, we enjoy traveling together, spending time on our boat whenever we can, and playing with our 3 dogs. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families of North Salisbury School.
