Ms Judy Nicholson

It is a joy to return to the Willards community and work once again with the students, families, and staff of Willards Elementary School.  Since my departure many years ago as an intervention teacher I began my career in administration.  I have served as an assistant principal for 6 years within Wicomico County Public Schools and as Principal of Delmar Elementary for the past 6 years.  Working with teachers and families to promote instruction and a positive learning experience is my goal for all students in our school.

I have lived on the Eastern Shore all my life.  Being raised in my early years in Worcester County and then moving with my family to Wicomico County, where I attended Wicomico County Public Schools; I went on to receive both my Undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Graduate degree in Administration from Salisbury University.  My husband and I have raised our two children here and our roots run deep, as we cannot image living anywhere else.

Although working in education is my passion, in my spare time I love spending time with my family.  Working with and learning about animals of all kinds is one of my favorite pastimes as well. Our dogs and horse keep me well occupied when I am not in school.

I look forward to greeting and meeting you soon!

Ms Jennifer Rice

Assistant Principal

I am truly excited to serve as the assistant principal at Wonderful Willards Elementary! This is my fifth year in Wicomico County. Prior to relocating to the eastern shore of Maryland, I resided in Baltimore where I was a teacher for 9 years and an assistant principal for 4 years. I received my Master’s Degree in Administration from Towson University. I am looking forward to working closely with the staff, students and parents at Willards. Working together sends the students the message that learning is a continuous effort for everyone involved in the process and that all stakeholders believe in each and every child’s ability to succeed. Active parental support combined with our best professional efforts, enables academic success for ALL students. My husband Brad and I, and our daughter, Isabella, reside in Bishopville. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending any sporting event, going to the beach and reading a good book! Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to support your child!
