Ms. Kelley Morris-Springston is starting her fourth year as Principal of Wicomico Middle School. Previously Ms. Morris-Springston was the Principal of Choices. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education from Wilmington College. Prior to her appointments, she was an Assistant Principal at Wicomico Middle School and a Computer Science teacher. Ms. Morris-Springston lives in Delmar with her husband Alex and pet Oscar.
Lillian Blake is currently in her 4th year as an Assistant Principal at Salisbury Middle School. She began her education career in Worcester County as a Middle and High school English teacher. She served as a Dean of Students at Bennett Middle School for four years and transferred to Wicomico High School in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from U.M.E.S and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Wilmington College located in Georgetown Delaware.
James “Bob” Purnell is a graduate of Wicomico County Schools. Before becoming Assistant Principal at Wicomico Middle he served as the Dean of Students of Parkside High School. Prior to becoming a Dean of Students Mr. Purnell served as a math teacher and department chair at Parkside High School. During his teaching career he taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and AP Calculus AB. He earned is bachelors in Secondary Math Education with a minor in Statistics from Salisbury University in 2004 and his masters in Educational Leadership/Administration in 2013 from Salisbury University. He currently lives in Hebron with his wife Antoinette and two dogs Ramses and Pip.
Currently serving Prince Street Elementary as Dean of Students, Mr. Dyda joined Wicomico Schools in 2000 as a teacher at Salisbury Middle. He worked in the Eagles Nest program his first year, then served as a math teacher from 2001-2012. From 2012-2014, he was a behavioral intervention support specialist at Beaver Run Elementary. While at Beaver Run, Mr. Dyda founded the WatchDOGS program enabling fathers to volunteer in the school. He received his bachelor’s degree from Salisbury University and his master’s degree from American Military University. Outside of school, Mr. Dyda is a very active soccer player and coach where he continues to help his players, like his students, reach their potential.
